Feedstuffs Laboratory

Since the foundation of the company the Feedstuffs Laboratory has been an integral part of the production site in Kaulsdorf and thus has more than 30 years of experience in analysing fodders. The original task of the lab was quality monitoring of raw materials and mineral nutrient mixtures. The analytical spectrum comprised the determination of P, Ca, Mg, Na, Cl, Mn, Zn, and Cu as well as the fineness of mesh.

Also presently careful goods reception inspections and the continual monitoring of the high standards of REKASAN^® -quality products are a key task of the REKASAN^® Feedstuffs Laboratory.

The analytical capabilities of th REKASAN^® Feedstuffs Laboratory were systematically extended. Beside mineral nutrient analyses, today also analyses of the contents of raw protein, raw fibre, raw ash and crude fat can be performed.

In addition, the REKASAN^® Feedstuffs Laboratory has developed into a significant component of our REKASAN^® counselling concept. We can assure our partners in agricultural enterprises that the ongoing nutrient analyses permanently facilitate an optimal composition of rations. In view of increasing performances by the agricultural enterprises our service – free-of-charge feed analysis for our customers – has become an indispensable basis for successful and effective animal feeding.

The reliability of analyses conducted by the REKASAN^® Feedstuffs Laboratory was verified recently by our successful participation in the ring analyses 2000 and 2001 (feedstuffs) commissioned by the working party "Feedstuffs and Feeding in the Free State of Saxony" and performed by the Division for Agricultural Studies at the Saxonian State Office for Agriculture.
